A 20-yard strike from the veteran Raff Cretaro rescued a point for Finn Harps as they came from behind to earn a 1-1 draw against relegation rivals.<\/p>\n
Both sides knew a win would cut the gap between them and Shelbourne after the Dublin\u2019s side defeat to St.Pat\u2019s on Saturday night.<\/p>\n
Ollie Horgan had to watch the game from the stands as he served a one-match touchline ban and he saw both Harps and the Leesiders play out a largely cagey first half.<\/p>\n
The first real chance fell to his team when Alexander Kogler found space in the 18-yard box but could only fire his effort wide of the post.<\/p>\n
Towards the break it was the visitors who produced the best chances of the half. First Harps \u2018keeper Mark McGinley produced an excellent save to deny a Cian Coleman then Deshane Dalling had a glorious chance to find the net after finding himself free at the back post but his effort trickled wide.<\/p>\n
Cork City eventually got the break through 13 minutes into the second half. Dylan McGlade with a sharp finish on the edge of the area that beat McGinley to his left.<\/p>\n
With 15 minutes to go the hosts were back in it. Cretaro was left in space 20-yards out and he curled a low effort into the bottom corner to leave Mark McNulty with no chance.<\/p>\n
It ended 1-1 with Cork remaining bottom of the table.<\/p>\n
