{"id":1894,"date":"2023-06-27T14:02:37","date_gmt":"2023-06-27T14:02:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/corkcityfc-posts.speiredev.ie\/index.php\/2023\/06\/27\/first-team-management-update\/"},"modified":"2023-08-22T09:44:03","modified_gmt":"2023-08-22T09:44:03","slug":"first-team-management-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/corkcityfc-posts.speiredev.ie\/index.php\/2023\/06\/27\/first-team-management-update\/","title":{"rendered":"First Team Management Update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Cork City FC wish to provide an update on the management of our men\u2019s first team.<\/p>\n<p>Following internal discussions, it has been agreed that the current management team will remain in place until the end of the 2023 season.<\/p>\n<p>Led by Sporting Director, Liam Buckley, who has overall responsibility for football matters, the management team also comprises Assistant Manager Richie Holland, Head of Academy Liam Kearney, First Team Coach Declan Coleman and Goalkeeping Coach Anthony Fennelly.<\/p>\n<p>Commenting on the announcement, Cork City owner Dermot Usher said: \u201cEveryone at the club has been pleased with recent results and performances. It has been a real team effort with everyone pulling in the same direction, and we have been very happy with how it is going. We have an excellent management team, headed by Liam Buckley, and we are confident that this approach will continue to bear fruit for the club. We have therefore decided that the current management team will remain in place until the end of the season.
