Cork City FC are pleased to announce signing of Kieran Coates, on loan from Stoke City, until the end of June.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The 20 year old full back told CorkCityFC.ie<\/em> that he was pleased to be on Leeside for the first half of the season: \u201cYeah, I am really pleased to be here. It all came about quite quickly, but when I got the phone call, I was very keen to come over. It is an opportunity for me to try and get some first team football, so I am really looking forward to it. I\u2019ve trained with the group for the first time this morning and I really enjoyed it, so I am looking forward to the game against Galway United tomorrow night.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n City boss Colin Healy welcomed the signing, saying: \u201cWe are very pleased to get Kieran on board, and I would like to thank Stoke City and Michael O\u2019Neill for facilitating the move. Kieran will add to our defensive options going forward, he is also a very attack minded player.
