All four managers remain in place from last year and we have added a lot of fresh new faces in our backroom staff members. We will be looking to build on what we felt was a very positive year last year. We also have some new and enhanced roles, focussing on vital areas such as Video Analysis and Strength and Conditioning where we will strive to improve and align our structure from Under 14s all the ways through our pathway to U19s , so I hope that this will help develop further our player development pathway.”

As previously confirmed, Jess Lawton will manage the Under 17 and Under 19 girls sides. At Under 19 level, she will be assisted by Mick O’Sullivan, with Mick Collins fulfilling the role of assistant with the Under 17s. Fergal Duffy will be the goalkeeper coach for both sides.

Commenting, Jess said: “I am really looking forward to working alongside Mick, Mick and Fergal this season. They have a lot of knowledge and experience that they can share with the players as we all work together to continue to develop players. There is a clear pathway from our academy sides into the first team, and beyond, and we look forward to helping more players to progress along that route.”

Cork City FC Men’s Academy Staff 2022:

Head of Academy: Liam Kearney

Academy Head of Video Analysis – Fionn Foley Twomey

Academy Head of Strength and Conditioning – Steve Barry

U19s

Manager – Dan Murray

Coach – Steven Beattie

Coach – Terry McCarthy

Coach – Aidan Murray

GK Coach – Peter Murphy

S&C Coach – Shane Long

Video Analyst – Dalian Roche

U17s

Manager – David Moore

Coach – Paul O’Brien

Coach – Lee Moore

GK Coach – Adrian O’Donovan

S&C Coach – Steve Barry

Video Analyst – Dave Mulcahy

U15s

Manager – Stephen Bermingham

Coach – Colm Bermingham

GK Coach – James Goodwin

S&C Coach – Damien Coleman

Video Analyst – Ben Quilligan

U14s

Manager – Greg Yelverton

Coach – Amanda Daly

GK Coach – Cian O’Brien

S&C Coach – John Harrington

Video Analyst – Tiwani Akinlabi

Cork City FC are delighted to announce their academy management teams for the 2022 season.
